Massive Protest Still Ongoing in Gombe, Northeast Geopolitical Zone
The people of Gombe State have maintained the momentum of the protest storming and hitting the streets, roads with placards and songs condemning the bad leadership which gave way to hardship and hunger that millions of Nigerians have been plunged into.
Online Parrot News reported that the residents of Gombe have come out to protest in the first three days of he nationwide protest against bad governance, according to the conveners of the protest.
Police said that they have arrested 17 of the protesters in the northeastern state of Gombe.
“We are not doing again”, the protesters said to voice their concerns over #EndBadGovernance.
They stressed the high cost of living and expressed their frustration with the inactions of the government at all levels.
