Senators, Reps Are Wasting Resources on New Hospital
An ex member of the Senate, Shehu Sani has lambasted the Senate and House of Representatives for being wasteful as they plan to build an ultramodern hospital complex for the lawmakers.
As Nigerians are criticising the plan to buy a new jet for the office of the president, the federal lawmakers are also looking forward to a hospital even though one is currently functioning for their use.
The former senator from Kaduna Central Senatorial District, said that the plan is a waste of resources. He made his view known on X on Friday.
He posted, “Establishing a new Hospital for Senators and Reps is a complete waste of public resources; knowing that there is an in-house clinic equipped for such services of which Lawmakers hardly patronise.”
