They’re Secretly Plotting Against President Bola Tinubu
A former member of the Senate from Kaduna State, Mr. Shehu Sani has alleged that sme forces from northern region are secretly planning against President Tinubu ahead of the next general elections.
Online Parrot News reported that the immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari has hosted a number of top politicians from the region. A former vice president Alhaji Abubakar Atiku was in Daura last week. He didn’t only go there, he was accompanied by a former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal.
Both Atiku and Buhari didn’t see to the eye. They both belonged to different political parties and both slugged it out for the seat of power in the 2019 general elections. Atiku lost. The visit of the former vice president to Daura came as a surprise.
Mr. Sani made exposed the plan on his Facebook page saying it is “a regrouping of Northern political forces for the next general election—a project that will eventually kiss the dust”.
Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna State was also in Daura yesterday. He was a supporter of Tinubu’s ambition though he couldn’t eventually get a slot in the Tinubu’s cabinet.
“They want to resurrect Buhari’s political charm, fanaticism, and mobilize the gullible to another hollow and bewildering end,” he remarked, highlighting increased poverty and insecurity during Buhari’s presidency
“The Daura homage of the disgruntled and the obsessed will fail. Our people in the North should reject these faces and their plots. They have nothing to offer.”
President Tinubu himself has not reacted to the political developments in the country.
