Breakdown of 2024 JAMB’s UTME Results
The registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced release of the results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Professor Ishiaq Oloyede, the board’s registrar talked about the details of the examination, a prerequisite to get admission into the universites, polytechnics and colleges of education.
According to him, the board has withheld results of 64,624 candidates. No fewer than 1.9 millions candidate registered for the examination which held between Friday, 19 to 29 April.
Professor Oloyede said, Out of a total of 1,989,668 registered candidates, 80,810 were absent. A total of 1,904,189 sat the UTME within the six days of the examination…”.
The board has released the results of 1,842,464 candidates. He added that 8,400 candidates scored 300 and above.
