Commissioner Loses Job for Stealing Ramadan Fund
The commissioner for commerce in Jigawa State, Alhaji Aminu Kanta, has lost his job for stealing funds meant for the Ramadan fasting in the state.
The secretary, to the Jigawa State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim said that the state governor Umar Namadi decided to relieve the commissioner for commerce his job.
He said that “The Governor directed the issuance of suspension in a letter, conveyed by the Secretary to the Jigawa State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim.”
He was accused of mismanagement of the iftar feeding programme fund in Babura Local Government Area.
