Shehu Sani Condemns Tinubu’s Government over Electricity Tarrif
A former member of the House of Senate, Shehu Sani, has condemned the decision of the administration of President Bola Tinubu to increase the electricity tarrif to as high as N225 from N66 per kilowatt.
The government made the decision on Wednesday at a time inflation continues to rise and bite Nigerians harder.
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission Musiliu Oseni made the announcement when he was talking with pressmen in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Sani, while reacting on his verified X account, said “Increasing electricity tariffs by 300% will finally electrocute human lives and businesses in the country.”
