Atiku Reveals Plans to Remove Tinubu and APC from Power
Ex vice president Atiku Abubakar has revealed plans to remove the All Progressives Congress and incumbent president Bola Tinubu from power ahead of the next general elections in the country.
Atiku lost the 2023 presidential election putting his big ambition to rule the country in limbo. He has been nursing the presidential ambition since 1993 when he jostled for the top job in the country.
The former vice president has hinted his intent to jostle for the job yet again in 2027. He unveiled the plan while attending the executive meeting of Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria. The former vice president called for merger of several other political parties so as to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress.
“We have all seen how the APC is increasingly turning Nigeria into a dictatorship of one party.
“If we don’t come together to challenge what the ruling party is trying to create, our democracy will suffer for it, and the consequences of it will affect the generations yet unborn.”
Atiku himself played an active role in the establishment of the All Progressives Congress in 2014. He led other top politicians including Rotimi Amaechi, Bukola Saraki, Aminu Tambuwal, Babangida Aliyu, and a host of others.
The formation of the All Progressives Congress and conspiracy against former president Goodluck Jonathan ultimately removed the Peoples Democratic Party from power. And since that time the Adamawa-born politician, Atiku, has been pursuing the federal power to no success.
