Federal Character Commission (FCC) Boss under Investigation for Certificate Forgery
The Nigeria Police Force is reportedly investigating an allegation of Certificate forgery against the Chairperson of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
Mrs. Muheeba Farida Dankaka is under the investigation and the police have informed her about the development. In a letter dated 8th January, 2024, the police notify the head of the commission that she should appear before the police.
Ahmadu Bello University had earlier replied the Commissioner of Police, police special fraud unit that the copies of certificate that the police sent for confirmation didn’t emanate from the university.
Umaru Danjuma Abdullahi, who signed on behalf of the university registrar said that the university didn’t issue the certificate. Therefore, the Federal Character Commission (FCC ) chairperson didn’t attend nor graduate from the school.
The police therefore asked Muheeba Farida Dankaka to appear on Thursday (yesterday), 11 January to answer questions. She was to come with Mohammed Bello Tukur, the secretary of the commission.
