After N15bn to Renovate Vice President’s Office, Another N10bn to be Spent on Chief of Staff Gbajabiamila’s Office too
While Nigerians are using Facebook, X formerly known as Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp to criticise the president for his reckless spendings, it has now emerged that the 2024 budget contains a plan to spend a whooping sum of N10bn to renovate the office of the Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila.
President Bola Tinubu has not reacted to all the reports that his administration is spending money recklessly.
Actually, the former speaker of the House of Representatives has denied the report. He even asked Nigerians to engage in debate with facts and not rumours.
Sahara Reporters says that apart from the said N10bn budgeted for the renovation of the office, another N570m is planned for his personal travel. This has led to an outrage again.
The Federal Capital Territory minister Nyesom Wike has announced that a sum of N15bn would be spent to renovate the office of the vice president, Kashim Shettima. Nigerians keep wondering why the current administration keeps spending money with reckless abandon while it asks the citizens to cope with the pains resulting from dying economy.
