The estranged Queen of Ooni Enitan Ogunwusi, Mrs. Naomi Silekunola, stormed the social media yesterday to announce the collapse of marriage between her and the imperial majesty, Oba Ogunwusi. The marriage lasted only three years and one child was produced.
That would be the third marriage Mr. Ogunwusi would find himself in and it seems he has not yet reached the bus stop as far as marriage is concerned. The former queen narrated her experience in the lengthy post she made. There are now two matters.
The former royal woman revealed that Oba Ogunwusi had two pictures. According to her, the first picture is what the public sees. She explained that the paramount monarch in Osun State gives the members of the public an impression that he is good. She claimed that it was not his real picture.
By picture, the former Queen Naomi Silekunola means the character of the king. He is often seen as a philanthropist until the queen split the beans and let the cat out of the bag. She said that the real picture, or character of the king is within the palace. And that is why she had decided to end the marriage once and for all.
The second issue is that it is becoming more real than the young ruler in Yoruba and may not be able to manage women. Or he doesn’t have luck when it comes to women. In less than a decade to his enthronement, he has married two women.
The marriage he had with the Benin woman, Wuraola Ogunwusi, didn’t bear any fruit. And the woman had to part ways with the king. Having a child might not be the issue. At least Mrs. Naomi had a son for the powerful king. The issue may be that he can’t properly handle marriage.
