Nigeria ranks 4th on the list of borrowers
A list of the top borrowers in the world is currently circulating with Nigeria on number 4 of the list.
The giant of Africa is owing the Word Bank $14.3b to make it the fourth behind Bangladesh, India ($17.9 billion), and Pakistan ($16.9 billion), the three of whom are neighbors in the Asian continent.
The World Bank said it has allocated $1.55 billion to Nigeria in the fiscal year 2023, making the country the ninth-highest beneficiary. Within a year the country $1.3 billion.
