Atiku shifts attention to Supreme Court as he moves to unseat Tinubu

There is no doubt that the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku is determined to unseating Bola Tinubu, the incumbent president. The former vice president has used virtually all his cards, and he won’t stop at nothing to get his goal: ruling the country.

After the Chicago State University has released all the information about Bola Tinubu’s academic, the ex vice president now looks forward to slugging it out at the apex court of the country.

A court in the United States ordered the Chicago State University to release all information and records of the president, who was a student from 1977 to 1979. Atiku had expected to get so much that he would use to finish the job at the apex court.

However, the school’s records show that Bola Tinubu actually attended the university and obtained a diploma. However, the university asserted that the certificate Bola Tinubu submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission didn’t come from the school.

Atiku Abubakar will now want the Supreme Court to consider the fact that the president, who was the All Progressives Congress candidate forged the certificate. He would do all he can to prove his case at the Supreme Court.

He had already appealed the decision of the 3-man Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. But he didn’t raise the issue of forgery at the tribunal. The apex court would not likely hear a fresh case. Nevertheless, the ex vice president would surely slug it out. He won’t be out of the race like that.

It would have been a different case if Atiku had found out serious or implicating things in the records that the Chicago State University released. Yes, the one he got (that’s forgery) should be enough to unseat Bola Tinubu. It’s not likely for the Supreme Court to accept the fresh matter.

Both Atiku and Tinubu have had a serious and gruelling battle in the United States, the last leg of the whole brouhaha would be at the Supreme Court.
