Domestic Violence: Brazil drops Man United’s Anthony
Manchester United’s Anthony has been dropped from the Brazilian squad for the main time. The decision to leave the winger out of the squad became necessary following the accusations against him by his girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin.
The winger, who was transferred from Ajax to Manchester United last season has denied assaulting his girlfriend, a Brazilian as well.
Anthony has also said he would be available for more investigation as he didn’t in any way raise his hand on the lady.
Gabriela said that Anthony once made an attempt to hit her with a glass. She narrated, “Anthony locked the door of the house and wouldn’t allow me go out, and I had my fingers open, all hurt. He broke my things, took my passport. His mother and even stepfather even trapped him inside the football court . He had a football court inside his living room, surrounded by a fence.”
The Brazilian player has denied wrongdoings. He wouldn’t be the first Manchester United player to have allegations of domestic violence against women. Mason Greenwood faced the law and he has been sent out of the English team.
A court in Sao Paulo is investigating the Manchester United player right now.
