Atiku queries Tinubu again over academic qualifications
A former vice president and presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, has questioned and queried President Bola Tinubu again.
The presidential candidate is pursuing a court case in Chicago, United States. He wanted the court to order the Chicago university to declare the results of the president, who beat Atiku in the last presidential election.
Atiku is also at the presidential election petition tribunal (PEPT) to upturn the results of the presidential election, in which he came second as he did in 2019. The ex vice president has now taken to his verified X, formerly known as Twitter, to question Tinubu.
The petitioner in the tribunal said he woke up in the morning to ponder on how Bola Tinubu in 1999 claimed to have attended St John’s Primary School, Aroloya, Lagos State before going to Children Home School in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In the post, Atiku continues, “According to him, the next port of call in his educational journey was Government College Ibadan, and Richard Daley College and Chicago State University in the United States. Curiously, in 2023, Tinubu settled with attending only Chicago State University.”
The candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi is also challenging the results of the February, 2023 general elections.
