Tinubu, an architect that fails himself
The ex Lagos state governor, Bola Tinubu often claims that he has built lots of men in his illusionary “school of thoughts”. He said he has served and led several top politicians and that it’s his own turn.
He made the statement in Yoruba, his local language. He said “emi lokan” while claiming to have assisted and being the architect that drew several plans. Of course, he ensured that those who have led Lagos since that time are from him.
But through what means? The end often justifies the means? Would that be Tinubu’s claim? Well, why can’t he use the same means he used to win his domain? The fact is…it’s already dawn and everyone can see clearly.
The architect was building when it was dark. He also claimed to be the architect of the modern Lagos. Bola Tinubu has made several Nigerians appear unable to think on their own.
Tinubu has become a cutlass that can shape the handle of others but fails himself. It is clear. Peter Obi, the man who they ascribed jokes to has turned the table and beat the so-called “city boy”.
The architect now looks up to the rural people in north for the actualisation of his “lifelong ambition”. The city boy, the architect should have drawn a good plan for himself. Has drawing become that difficult?
Of course, he is now aged. And Nigerians shouldn’t even have another Buhari in power. The incumbent president spent several months abroad receiving treatments for undisclosed ailments.
Perhaps Tinubu is old and should be resting at home, hence he can’t draw his own plan to win Lagos state, he purportedly owns. That could be the reason.
What about those who he built? Where are they? Have they all deserted the aged architect, Tinubu? He needs them now more than ever. Perhaps they have all betrayed him.
Yet the APC candidate, Tinubu normally claims to be ready for betrayal. What about the one at his doorsteps? He has lost the state to the tenant. That is amusing! The architect has failed himself!
