Chelsea Fails Hakim Ziyech
The Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech obviously wanted to join the French club, Paris Saint German during the January transfer window. However, his English club, Chelsea, failed to do the necessary things to avoid a fail.
When the transfer talk started, Chelsea sent a wrong contract to France for signature. Authorities at PSG noticed this and returned the contract to the London club.
For the second time, Chelsea sent a correct or valid document, however there was no signature on the document. PSG didn’t accept it and asked Chelsea to do the necessary adjustment to the document.
Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech is frustrated in the London club as he often sits on the bench. When he gets a time to play, he flops, understandably due to the frustration at the club.
Chelsea sent at least three different papers. They either didn’t have signatures or they were wrong documents as a whole.
Of course, it’s at the time Chelsea management was busy pursuing Enzo Fernandez. The Argentina World Cup winner was in Benfica and its president Rui Costa insisted that the young player wouldn’t leave the club.
That could even really account for the numerous mistakes Chelsea made over Hakim Ziyech. Note that Chelsea spent a whooping £35m to get the Moroccan from Ajax Amsterdam in 2020.
He won the 2021 UEFA Champions League with Chelsea and since that time, his performance has drastically dropped in the club.
Ziyech was part of the Moroccan team that made history in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. He took his team to the semifinals becoming the first team from Africa to reach that milestone in the international competition.
Obviously and regrettably Chelsea fails Hakim Ziyech by neglecting or refusing to do things or hasten the process for his transfer to PSG.
