China is snubbing Russia so as to comply with the Western sanctions. China has appeared to be backing Russia in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
China abstained from voting in the last United Nations General Assembly meeting. Rather than supporting Russia, it chose to be neutral. But since that meeting, Western allies have mounted pressure on Russia.
Numerous sanctions are on Russia for invading Ukraine. And rather than fighting Russia in the crisis, the Western allies sanction Russia.
The Reuters report that China has refused to supply Russian airlines aircraft parts. The Chinese companies join American Boeing (BA.N) and French Airbus to snub Russia.
The Chinese aircraft makers say they won’t sell components to Russia anymore.
Valery Kudinov, an official of Rosaviasta, said that Russia would seek help from Turkey and Indian. Rosaviasta is in charge of checking and maintaining airplanes and their worthiness in Russia.
He revealed that since China has refused to supply the parts to Russia, India and Turkey would be approached.
China is snubbing Russia perhaps to avoid sanctions. Beijing won’t want to involve in the conflict.
