The ruling All Progresives Congress, APC further embraces Igbo in the southeastern region. The political party. The party doesn’t have so much presence in the region.
And ahead of the national convention of the party, the APC has put some things in place for the southeastern region. Even the party has apparently made provisions for the Igbo politicians.
The caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress has zoned some juicy offices to the southeast. The convention would bring out a new National Working Committee.
The secretariat of the All Progressives Congress will now have an Igbo politician as the deputy national chairman (south) of the political party.
The last administration of the APC didn’t take care of the southeastern region at all. Even that could have made the party to fail in the zone.
But the zoning committee under the leadership of Kwara State governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak has let the APC further embrace Igbo community.
The national treasurer, national welfare secretary, deputy national organising secretary belong to the southeast. There are more juicy offers given to the region.
