Nine Commissioners have resigned from Fubara’s cabinet

At least 9 commissioners have tendered their resignation letters to the Rivers State Governor Simi Fubara. Online Parrot News has been giving updates on the political crisis in the oil rich south-south state.

Ben Chioma and Emeka Woke Commissioner for Special Projects and environment respectively are the latest to depart from the cabinet.

Professor Zacchaeus Adangor (SAN), the attorney general and commissioner of justice, was the first to tender his letter. He said he resigned for personal reasons and it followed the demolition of the Rivers State House of Assembly complex.

Those who resigned earlier include the state’s Attorney-General (AG) and Commissioners for Justice Prof Zacchaeus Adangor, Commissioner for Works George-Kelly Alabo, Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Commissioner Inime Aguma and Commissioner of Finance, Isaac Kamalu.

Others are Commissioners of Transportation, Dr Jacobson B. Nbina, State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Prince Chinedu, as well as the State Commissioner for Housing, Gift Worlu.
