The Portuguese international, Bruno Fernandes perfectly outshone Cristiano Ronaldo, his compatriot from Portugal last season. The duo currently play for Manchester United.
The English club has collated the performance of its players, and across all parameters, Fernandes did far better than his colleague.
The midfielder played 58 games for Manchester United. Ronaldo was very far below him. It’s only Mason Greenwood, who is closer to Fernandes with 54 games. Aaron Wan-Bissaka came third.
From another statistics, Bruno Fernandes provided the highest number of assists. He helped in scoring 18 goals for Manchester United. Only Paul Pogba was closer with 12 assists. His protracted injury couldn’t permit much.
Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t make the first three on the number of assists provided. Marcus Rashford provided 8 assists to sit on the log while Aaron Wan-Bissaka came fifth five assists across all competitions.
Bruno Fernandes also beat Cristiano Ronaldo in the number of goals scored for Manchester United last year. Fernandes saw the back the net 18 times to defeat Ronaldo’s 14.
